"Ship" as in "relationship" - That you like the idea of these two characters being involved, even if it's not "canon"; although some "ships" are ;)

Yup. As Claire said the word ''Ship'' is used when you talk about a relationship you support.

So, when and how did you start to ship Harry/Hermione? :)
